People apply, you approve, and each affiliate gets a link and a page of their own with their clicks, sales and what they are owed. You pay them yourself: every sale lands in full in your own Stripe account.

How your program runs

Set the terms
A share of 1% to 90%, for the whole store or product by product, and a window of 1 to 90 days after a click.

Approve who you want
People apply on your store's affiliate page with an email address they confirm. Nobody is in until you say so.

Pay what is owed
Your studio shows what each affiliate earned and what you have paid. Pay them however you agree, then mark it paid.
We do not pay your affiliates, and we say so first
Stan pays its affiliates automatically, on its $99 plan. We never hold your money, so there is nothing for us to pay out from: you pay affiliates yourself, by bank transfer, PayPal or however you agree. What you get from us is the record of who sent which sale and what it earned, on the $29 plan.
What the program keeps track of
- A page for each affiliateTheir link, their clicks, their sales, what they earned and what you paid them. They never see who the buyers were.
- Last click winsThe most recent affiliate link a buyer followed, inside your window, gets the sale.
- Worked out fairlyThe share is a percentage of what was paid, before tax. A refund on your Stripe account cancels it, and a partial refund reduces it.
- Hard to gameNo commission on an affiliate's own purchase, a click counted once per visitor per day, and your own clicks not counted.
- The book, as a fileDownload who is owed what as a CSV, and note each payment with its date and reference.
- Up to 1,000 peoplePer store, applications included. You approve or decline each one.
What it does not do
- No automatic payouts. You pay affiliates yourself and mark each payment in your studio.
- Memberships and payment plans earn no commission; one-off sales and booked calls do.
- A dispute on your Stripe account does not cancel a commission by itself: check your dashboard before you pay.
- Contracts, tax forms and payments between you and your affiliates are yours to arrange.
Questions about affiliates
Does Nimbus take a cut of affiliate sales?
No. 0% of every sale, as on any other. The full amount lands in your Stripe account, and the affiliate's share is yours to pay.
How is a sale tied to an affiliate?
Their link is your store's address with their code on the end. Following it leaves a cookie on your store's own address with the code and the time of the click, and a purchase inside your window is credited to them. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland and Brazil, whose rules require consent first, are asked in one line on the page, and the cookie is set when they allow it.
What does someone need to join?
An email address they can open. They apply on your store's affiliate page, confirm with the link we email, and you approve them in your studio.
