What it does not do yet
- No comments under a lesson. Conversation happens in your store's community, which a course can open.
- Certificates are pages printed or saved as a PDF from the student's browser; no PDF file is made.
- No live lessons inside the course itself. Hold them as live events in your community, or put a link in a lesson to where you hold them.
- Videos watched count toward your store's 200 GB a month, the same as downloads. Going over never cuts a student off; your studio shows it, and your store keeps working as usual.
Questions about courses
How does a student come back next week?
On the device they paid on, the course simply opens. On any other, they ask for a link on the course page and it is emailed to the address they paid with. No account, no password.
Can I sell a course monthly?
Yes. Sold as a membership, the course stays open while the member pays and closes when the membership ends.
Can students pay in installments?
Yes. A course with one price can be offered in two to twelve weekly or monthly payments. The student gets in after the first.
What if I refund a student?
Refunds are made in your own Stripe dashboard. A refund in full closes the course for that student within ten minutes; a partial refund keeps it open. On a payment plan, a refund in full of the first payment closes it too; a refund of a later payment is not detected, so take that student off the course in your studio.
