How it works

    Connect Stripe from your studio

    You get a full Stripe account in your name, with your own login and dashboard at stripe.com.

    Buyers pay you directly

    The charge, the receipt and the line on your buyer's card statement carry your business name, not ours.

    Stripe pays you out

    On the payout schedule you set in your own Stripe dashboard. There is nothing for us to release.

What that means in practice

  • 0% of your salesOur only income is your plan. Stripe charges its own card fee on your account, line by line.
  • You are the sellerThe sale is yours, in your name. Refunds and disputes are handled in your own Stripe dashboard.
  • Nothing to take with youCustomers, members and payouts were always on your account. Leaving costs you nothing to move.

The honest limits

  • Stripe only. Buyers meet the ways to pay your Stripe account has on, and PayPal is not one to count on: Stripe offers it only to accounts in the EU (except Hungary), the UK, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein, and its documentation lists it as not supported for direct charges, which is how every sale here is charged. Stan lets creators connect a PayPal Business account.
  • You need a Stripe account in one of the 43 countries the studio offers — the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Mexico and most of Europe among them, but not everywhere.
  • Because we never touch your money, we cannot advance it, split it with an affiliate automatically, or refund a buyer for you.

What do I pay Nimbus?

Your plan — $29 a month, or $99 on Pro — and nothing from your sales. The first 14 days are free, and you cancel in two clicks from your studio.

Who handles refunds and disputes?

You do, in your own Stripe dashboard, with the same tools any business has. A refund is a refund you issue, not a request you file with us.

Can I charge in euros or pounds?

Yes. Each store charges in one currency, which you choose in your studio from 15. The ways to pay are the ones you switch on in Stripe.

What happens to my money if Nimbus closes?

Nothing. It was never here. Your Stripe account, your customers and your payouts carry on without us.
