Each store charges in one of 15 currencies. At checkout, buyers meet the ways to pay you switched on in your own Stripe account: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, iDEAL, Bancontact and more, where they fit the buyer and the amount.

How it is set

    Pick the currency

    US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand, Singapore and Hong Kong dollars, euros, pounds, Swiss francs, Swedish kronor, Norwegian and Danish kroner, Polish zloty, Japanese yen or Mexican pesos — among those your Stripe account can charge in.

    Switch ways to pay on in Stripe

    Your studio lists what your Stripe account has on, read from Stripe each time, and links straight to the page in Stripe where you switch more on.

    Stripe shows what fits

    Each buyer meets the ways that fit their country, the currency and the amount. Memberships and payment plans show only the ways Stripe can charge again each period.

What it gives your buyers

  • WalletsApple Pay, Google Pay and Link, and others such as Revolut Pay where your account has them.
  • Pay laterKlarna, Afterpay or Clearpay, Affirm and the rest: the buyer pays in installments, and you are paid in full.
  • Bank payments confirmed on the spotiDEAL, Bancontact, BLIK, Przelewy24 and others that confirm while the buyer waits.
  • Prices written their wayEvery page, email, spreadsheet and number in your studio writes money in your store's currency: ¥2,700, not $27.00.
  • Delivery that stays instantWays to pay that are not confirmed while the buyer waits are left out, so nobody pays and then meets a page saying nothing was paid.

What it does not do

Said here so nobody signs up expecting it.

  • Do not count on PayPal here. Stripe offers PayPal only to accounts in the EU (except Hungary), the UK, Switzerland, Norway and Liechtenstein, and its documentation, read on September 28, 2026, lists it as not supported for direct charges, which is how every sale here is charged. Stan lets creators connect a PayPal Business account, so on PayPal Stan is ahead.
  • Slow bank debits and vouchers — ACH, SEPA and Bacs Direct Debit, bank transfers, Boleto, OXXO, Konbini, Multibanco — and stablecoins are left out on purpose, because they are not confirmed while the buyer waits.
  • One-click offers after paying are shown only to buyers who paid by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  • One currency per store at a time. Changing it keeps every price's number — 49 dollars becomes 49 euros — so check your prices; it waits while a membership or payment plan is still running, and moving between the yen and a currency with cents is refused while the store has prices.
  • Which ways to pay exist is up to Stripe and your country. We switch nothing on or off for you.

Questions about currencies and ways to pay

Does Nimbus take a cut of Klarna or other methods?

No. 0%, as on every sale. Stripe charges its own fee for each method on your account, published on its pricing page.

What does Stan offer?

Stan offers Stripe and PayPal, and one currency per store chosen from ten, according to its help center, read on September 28, 2026. We offer 15, so we are ahead on currencies, and behind on PayPal.

Who can change the currency?

You and an Admin. You are emailed whenever it changes.
