Reviews only a buyer can write
Stars and words from people your own Stripe account says paid. You can answer a review and hide one, but never change a word of it, and hiding one never lifts your average.

Where a review comes from

A buyer pays
For a file, a course, a membership that has charged, or an offer taken after paying.

They write it
From their thank-you page, from their list of purchases, or from the one email that asks. Each one checks the order on your Stripe account first.

It goes live
At once, with 1 to 5 stars, up to 1,000 characters, and the name they choose or “Verified buyer.” Your studio lists what has arrived since you last looked.
On Stan, reviews are added by the creator: its help center, read on September 27, 2026, says there is no way for customers to write one on a Stan store. Here, only customers can.
The rules, and why they help you
- One voice per buyerOne review per buyer and product, even if they bought it twice. They can change it or delete it.
- Hiding is said out loudA hidden review's words leave the page, but its stars stay in the average and the count, and the page says how many are hidden.
- A refund takes its stars backA payment refunded in full takes that review's stars out of the average. Its words stay, marked as refunded.
- Your answer, in publicUp to 1,000 characters under any review.
- Their email is never shownOnly the name they chose. Each review keeps its order reference, so you can find the payment in your Stripe dashboard.
- One email that asks, on ProOff until you switch it on: each buyer is asked once per order, 3 to 30 days after buying, never offering anything in return. It counts in your monthly emails.
- Stars where buyers decideThe average on the product's card, on its page and on the preview image a shared link shows. Ten reviews on the page, the rest on a page of their own.
What it does not do
- You cannot edit or delete a buyer's review, or add one of your own. Only its buyer can change or delete it; deleting the whole product deletes its reviews.
- Booked calls and free products are not reviewed.
- The email that asks for reviews needs Pro, as email to your list does. On the $29 plan, buyers review from their thank-you page and their list of purchases.
- No photos in reviews, and no reviews imported from another platform.
- Up to 2,000 reviews per product.
Questions about reviews
Why can't I delete a bad review?
Because a rating you could clean up would be worth nothing to a buyer. You can hide its words, answer it, or refund the order in full, which takes its stars out.
Who on my team can moderate them?
You, an Admin, an Editor and Support can hide and answer reviews. Switching on the email that asks is a setting, for you and Admins.
